A federated sports association. President: César Sánchez Pitarch, the Federation's representative in the province of Castellón and an endurance judge.
Half a century with horses in Oropesa

Founded as Hípica Centauro.
- 1981
Moves to the current premises and becomes Hípica de Oropesa.
- 1995
The federated club is created. Activities outside Oropesa begin, along with collaboration with other equestrian organisations.
- 2005
Restoration work after the construction of Avenida Barcelona.

Livery returns.

Federation licence VA-00007, class 4, national championship level. The club takes part in endurance riding.
Become a club member
The club is a sports association. Being a member means having your place at the riding club: access to the facilities, discounts and the chance to organise your own get-togethers.

- Use of the arenas and your own events, with permission
- Meet-ups, birthdays, lunches or leaving parties at the club, agreed with the management
- Take part in club life, even on the committee
To ride at the club you need a federation licence, for insurance reasons. We help you apply for it.
Riding courses
The riding instructor is external, so courses are run in groups. To sign up you need:
- A minimum group of 4 students
- A valid federation licence
- Signed application and authorisation
- Club membership
In July there is a short course for the little ones, to get close to horses and prepare for the Galope levels.
Summer Pentathlon camp
From 1 July to 30 August, at Club Hípico Oropesa. Physical preparation for young people who want to compete in modern pentathlon.
- Pentathlon, 9:00 to 14:00: swimming, rowing and kayaking, laser pistol shooting, fencing with automatic scoring and a cross-country run through the woods with timing.
- Riding, 18:00 to 20:00: lessons in the club's arenas.
- Depending on age, also climbing, bike rides, orienteering and strategy games.

The club's beach bar, licensed for music, events and catering, is looking for someone to run it for the season. Almost everything is set up, except the kitchen.
